Creating Space for Female Founders to Think Beyond the To-Do List

On 17 June, Lilalab hosted the workshop From Mission to Impact: Clarity and Momentum for Your Venture in Ljubljana, bringing together a small group of entrepreneurial-minded women for an evening of reflection, connection, and practical planning.

The workshop was organized as part of the FoundHER community in Slovenia, a growing network that connects and supports female founders. The event was generously hosted by Telprom, whose space provided the perfect environment for meaningful conversations and creative exploration.

Looking Beyond the Business Model

During the workshop, participants explored their ventures through Lilalab's emerging Mission-to-Impact Canvas — a framework designed to help entrepreneurs connect their mission, community, activities, resources, and impact in one place. Rather than focusing only on business strategy, the canvas invites founders to reflect on the person behind the venture and the values that drive their work.

Together, we explored what creates momentum, what may be holding us back, and how to align our entrepreneurial journey with the impact we want to create in the world. Participants reflected on their mission, working processes, communities, resources, and desired impact, while also taking time to reconnect with themselves as entrepreneurs.

Building the Future of the Mission-to-Impact Canvas

A special thank you to Svetlana, Ana, and Petra for their openness, insights, and participation, and to Rachael for building and nurturing the FoundHER community in Slovenia.

This workshop was also an important milestone in the development of the Mission-to-Impact Canvas, which will be officially launched later this year. We are excited to continue testing, refining, and sharing this framework with the wider entrepreneurial community.

Stay tuned for more updates and future workshops.
