How Do We Know We Are Making a Difference?

Our seventh Lilalab Incubator workshop invited participants to explore one of the most important entrepreneurial questions: How do we know whether our work is creating meaningful impact? From the butterfly effect and chaos theory to established impact measurement frameworks, we reflected on the indicators that help us understand what is changing and whether we are moving closer to our mission.

As part of the workshop, we welcomed Polona Hrovat Mavsar, founder of Involve Evolution, as a guest speaker. Drawing on her experience, she highlighted the value of identifying just a few key metrics that truly matter and tracking them consistently over time.

Participants explored how impact measurement can serve as a practical compass for entrepreneurs, helping them make informed decisions, stay focused on their purpose, and better understand the change they are creating.
